I mentioned last time that I had a separate look for Scholar, and I’ve actually grown so fond of it that I’m playing White Mage less. It’s sort of weird, to me, as I had gotten rather bored with SCH post-60, and for some time now I’ve been enjoying WHM much more. The more I run around on SCH lately, though, the more I’m considering going back to it as my main healing class.

I rather liked the Allagan Pantaloons with the Uraeus Coat from the moment I got them, but the tricky part was that the coat keeps all of its black, and the pants don’t, when dyed. My normal choice for both would have been white, of course, but the color scheme just wasn’t working out for me. The SCH Esoterics book is red and black, though, which ended up pushing me toward red instead. All of the colors match up quite well here, which is a big part of why I’m playing SCH so much, I think.
Beyond all that, there’s not really a whole lot to say about this one. It happened mostly by accident, as for a few days my SCH was running around with the pants and the coat in mismatched colors (because WHM and SCH were using the same leg piece but different bodies when I first got the Pantaloons), and I got really attached to the overall combination. I like it enough that I’m actually considering the thought of my third Anima weapon being for SCH, but we’ll see—if I want to do that, I need to farm up a full set of Luminous Crystals again.
I’m still fiddling around with different things for Ninja—the Expeditioner’s Thighboots didn’t work out quite as I had hoped (mostly because the corresponding gloves don’t quite look right with my Iga Ningi), but I feel as though it’s still time for a change there. I’m also probably going to have the job-specific gear for Astrologian, soon, so I might look into creating a unique glamour for it, too, though it doesn’t really look bad using the same look as SCH right now:
