Glamour Spotlight: Ninja #2

After a little bit of experimentation, I finally managed to work out a Ninja glamour that I liked better than my older one. It turns out that sticking to Pure White on the body was the main stumbling block, and once I freed myself of that restriction, the glamour came together pretty naturally.

Glamour Components
Head: (none) | Body: Iga Ningi (Metallic Silver Dye) | Hands: Replica Allagan Gauntlets of Striking (Metallic Silver Dye) | Legs: Gryphonskin Pantalettes (Metallic Silver Dye) | Feet: Replica Allagan Sollerets of Striking (Metallic Silver Dye)

Since the secondary color for Metallic Silver dye is normally black, it made the use of the my favorite Allagan replicas much simpler. Both the gauntlets and the sollerets look much better in the metallic colors than they do in anything else (which makes sense of course, since the original items have a metallic bronze color).

I’m not 100% sold on the sollerets for the choice of boots, but finding a pair that looks right with the gauntlets is tricky, so they work well enough. I would have also preferred something that looked appropriate in black for the leg piece, but nothing quite matches the sheen of the black on the neck of the ningi, and I was shooting for a sort of look that implied a black leotard or something beneath the gi. But the silver dye works well enough for the color scheme.

The next item on my list is to figure out a new healer look now that I’m using SCH as my primary healer again. That means going back to my Omnilex Nexus out of loyalty and finding a look that gels with it.
