Glamour Spotlight: Crafters #1

Slowly but surely, I’ve been working on getting all of my other crafting classes up to 6o since the beginning of Patch 3.2, mostly to make it easier to handle melding, since it’s a much bigger part of the game now. I hadn’t intended to figure out a glamour for them until I had everything to 60, but I’ve never liked the look of most of the Adept’s gear at level 58, so I did put something together to sate my glamour needs while I get everything wrapped up.

Glamour Components
Head: Elegant Rimless Glasses (Jet Black Dye) | Body: Archaeoskin Jackcoat of Crafting (Pure White Dye) | Hands: Strife GlovesLegs: Lady’s Knicker’s (Black)Feet: Adept’s Thighboots (Jet Black Dye)

This is a fairly basic look that I’ve actually used across a number of classes at this point, with minor variations. At some point after hitting 51 (to equip the Jackcoat), I used the basic look for Black Mage/Summoner, Bard/Machinist, Scholar, and Weaver, off the top of my head. Usually, I was using different boots (since the Adept’s ones are level 58), and changed the color of the vest as appropriate.

I just really like the Jackcoat combined with the Lady’s Knickers. I love the Adept’s Thighboots, too, but they’re actually pretty hard to work with. I’ve only used them in this glamour and an older healer one (with the Chivalric Doublet—which I still think is really cute, for what it’s worth). The Expeditioner’s Thighboots just work much better for most looks, so the Adept’s ones don’t see a lot of use.

I’m not sure yet if I’ll be keeping this once all of the classes are level 60 or not. I probably will until 3.3 at the very least, when we’re getting new “one-size-fits-all” crafting gear.
