On the one hand, I’m still struggling to work out a tank glamour on Alahra, which has more or less stalled my 270 Light grind for Paladin indefinitely. On the other, I’ve had a working tank glamour for my alt Lynahra for a several weeks now. I hadn’t gotten around to posting it since I’ve had a mostly steady stream of new glamours for awhile,but since I’m stuck again, I figure this is as good a time as any, since I got Lynahra to level 50 on Dark Knight a week or so ago.

Lynahra is generally a lot easier to glamour for than Alahra. I have very specific looks in mind for her, often involving things I don’t like to do on my main, so I don’t often have to spend a lot of time fiddling around with options for her. (Of course, it helps that she doesn’t have the same range of things to choose from, too.) I’ve been using this basic look for her since I started leveling Dark Knight, using whatever Cuirass was the most currently available. The Mythril Cuirass is easily the nicest version of the model, and I stuck with it after 41 (with a brief detour to the Sentinel’s Cuirass).

I’m not certain that I’m completely finished with this look, as I’d like to try out the Orthodox Gauntlets of Fending from The Aery, but it’ll likely be some time before I have Lynahra far enough along in the story to get them. I’ve also got a laundry list of various things I’d like to collect and play around with that I’ve never felt right using on Alahra. Lynahra’s also taller than Alahra which seems like it may work better for some of the heavier tank gear, so I intend to see how that goes at some point, too.

I’m working rather slowly on her for now, though, so I’m not sure when I’ll get around to those. Right now when I do play her, I’m fiddling around with Machinist for her as an alt class (which means getting Bard up for cross class stuff), so gear collection is probably going to take a back seat for awhile.

Now, hopefully, I’ll have another new tank glamour on Monday for Alahra—this snag has meant I’ve broken my streak of one 270 Anima per week, so I really need to get back on it!
